Looking back after some time has passed, all I can think is that I really worried for nothing in the beginning~~ Now the line has settled completely like it’s my own eye, and I don’t feel like it looks obviously incised or artificial at all~ When I open my eyes in the morning, it feels comfortable without the heaviness or tight pulling I used to have, and makeup is so much better because the line is nicely defined~
Especially with the lateral-lower canthoplasty, I feel the effect more and more as time goes by!! Since that blocked, stuffy feeling at the outer corners of my eyes is gone, my overall eye shape looks much more open and refreshed, and I do think my impression has definitely changed from the front, from the side, and even when I smile lol
Before, when I smiled, my eyes used to look even smaller, but now the more I smile, the softer and more comfortable my eyes look, so I think that’s what I’m most satisfied with hehe
At first, people around me would just say something seemed different, but these days it’s changed to comments like my eyes are pretty or my impression looks better haha
Even if I went back, I think I’d make the same choice to get the incisional double eyelid surgery and lateral-lower canthoplasty together, and for people considering eye surgery, I want to tell them not to get scared because of the early swelling or awkwardness!!
As time passes, it really becomes stable enough that you think, there was a reason for all of it~~~ In the end, I once again felt that what matters is finding a place that designs the surgery to suit your own eyes, and in that regard, I was fully satisfied with this choice!!
