3-Month Review of 3-Way Lateral Canthoplasty at the Clinic

I’m currently entering my third month after surgery, and I had the eye surgery I had been thinking so hard about at the clinic. I’m so satisfied and have no regrets! Since before, my eyes looked sharp and felt horizontally constricted, so I had been considering lateral canthoplasty. But I kept seeing many cases of side effects, reviews saying there was a C-shaped deformity or that it went back to the original shape after a while, and so on, so I couldn’t readily decide to do it... Then by chance, I saw a review from someone who had it done at the clinic. Unlike other places, they have a surgical method that does 3-way lateral and lower canthoplasty together, and they said there are almost no side effects like C-shaped deformity, so I applied for a consultation first. During the consultation, the director explained everything very thoroughly, and the consultant also made it comfortable for me to ask anything I was curious about, which was really nice. And on the day of surgery as well, before the operation they consulted with me again, answered anything I was curious about, and explained the precautions again, so I think my trust went up haha. I had the surgery around the end of September last year, and before surgery my eyes had a slightly constricted feeling. The day after surgery, I could see some conjunctival edema, but my eyes felt like they had opened up refreshingly, so I was excited. Then on day 3, the swelling and conjunctival edema were at their worst, so I think I lay down all day doing eye compresses After a little over a week, I had the stitches removed, and the next day the conjunctival edema definitely disappeared quickly and it felt like recovery sped up too!! And now that 3 months have passed, people around me say things like I somehow look prettier and gentler, and the scars at the outer corners of my eyes aren’t visible unless you look closely at my bare face! My eye-smile still feels more awkward than before, but it doesn’t pull or hurt. I really have no regrets and I’m very satisfied!! I haven’t had the C-shaped deformity or side effects I was worried about so far, and my eyes felt dry until the second month, so I used artificial tears. Now I think it’s much better than before.
