The double eyelids I had done when I was young kept getting heavier and coming undone, and I started getting wrinkles on my forehead. I did get Botox too, but as I got older, it felt like the skin was sagging more.. I felt like this wasn’t just a cosmetic issue but a functional problem too, so I got double eyelid surgery. Of course it’s important for the eyes to look pretty, but I had surgery at a place that said eye health is even more important. I felt the same way, so I think I was a little more drawn to them. Thanks to that, my eyelashes don’t poke my eyes now, and I think my eyes got prettier too, so it feels like killing two birds with one stone.
