I had nose surgery on April 31, and now I think I’ve recovered and it has settled well. For the implant, I had silicone for the nasal bridge, and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. Before it had been a week, it was a bit hard having to breathe only through my mouth haha And when I took off the splint and saw my nose line, a smile came to my face on its own. After the surgery, I kept taking lots of walks and managed the swelling by drinking swelling-reducing tea. Up until one month after surgery, it felt slightly awkward, but time really is the best medicine. After a month passed and more time went by, the swelling went down, and now it doesn’t look awkward like before. The nose line has settled completely naturally haha The nasal bridge has settled straight and nicely, and the nasal tip also settled prettily without looking awkward, so I’m really, really happy. Before getting rhinoplasty, I never took side-profile photos, but after getting my nose done, I’ve been taking photos because it’s fun to capture my side profile haha Now that I’ve had the surgery, I definitely understand why people keep talking about rhinoplasty and get nose surgery haha I’m so happy now that the surgery turned out really well!
