Eye Surgery Considerations

What kind of eye surgery did you guys get as men? Question from a man in his 30s with an office job who’s new to plastic surgery

I’ve been actively researching online and going around for consultations these days to gather information.First, I watched information about eye surgery from people who are active on YouTube, and then went for in-person consultations. But even though I feel like I asked a lot on-site, when I get home, I feel like something was lacking? That’s the kind of feeling I have.I have pseudoptosis (my eye-opening strength seems normal), and my eyelids are on the thinner side.My eyelids droop slightly, so my eyes look a bit stuffy.I wear glasses, and I’m the kind of common guy around whom people say, “Put your glasses back on,” when I take them off hahaI’ve been to about 4 places so far.2 places recommended buried inner double eyelids, 1 place recommended only eyelid incision, and 1 place recommended eyelid incision plus inner double eyelids.Explanation by surgery type (writing this to share with other members)1. Eyelid incision only-Reason: If an inner double eyelid is created, sutures need to be used, so a follow-up visit is needed, and a slight scar forms. So they suggested just removing the eyelid drooping to make the eyes a little bigger. -Disadvantage: The area where thin skin and thick skin meet may be noticeable. (Due to the structure of eyelid skin)-Price: I think it was around 1.5 million won2. Buried method - Reason: There is almost no ptosis. If they just stitch/fix it, the eyelid folds upward and the eyes become a little bigger.- Disadvantage: Doing this alone won’t change the overall impression. You need to do something else for a dramatic change -> I guess that means it’s that natural of a surgery- Price: One place was inexpensive, and the other quoted around 2.5 million won... Isn’t the buried method usually cheap?? 3. Eyelid incision and inner double eyelid- Reason: Incision to prevent eyelid drooping, and if an inner double eyelid is made, the eyes definitely get bigger.- Disadvantage: Well, since it’s an inner double eyelid, it could come undone later? Also, the place I visited does local anesthesia too, but they said they use sleep anesthesia.. That scared me a bit, and when I looked it up, the doctor was a general practitioner. Not a specialist... So I was like, hmm.. what should I do.- Price: Low 2 million won rangeI don’t think I need ptosis correction for my eyes, so I’m not considering ptosis correction.I’m debating whether I should do non-incisional or incisional.Since I work at a company, I’m worried that if I do incisional, it’ll be very obvious for at least a month. And with non-incisional, I worry: will it be worth the money? If I do it, will my eye shape definitely look more open than now? Is it 100% guaranteed to come undone later? When you’re new to plastic surgery, I heard doing the buried method is psychologically better...How was it for others?
