I’ve run into a difficulty I never even imagined before surgery. I’m seriously wondering whether I need to cut ties with people I used to know..... --; It’s only been 14 days, and since I also had fat grafting done together, my face is plump, but it has changed to look more three-dimensional. My jaw is still extremely swollen, but compared with my old jaw, it has become slimmer. In short, if someone who doesn’t know me sees me, it looks like a plump, three-dimensional face, and if someone who knew me before sees me, people who don’t know much about types of cosmetic surgery just think, “Oh, she shaved her jaw,” while people who know a lot about cosmetic surgery see a face that looks like I shaved my jaw and got filler-like injections here and there. I used to think that if I was going to do it, I should make a dramatic, noticeable change, but now that I’ve actually changed dramatically, I really like my face, but when people see me, blunt people directly ask, “Did you shave your jaw?” (usually people with somewhat prickly personalities), and people who know everything but don’t say it outright say, “Your face has changed.” It was so, so embarrassing. The moment I heard it, my face turned bright red.... I haven’t even met many friends since surgery, but I started thinking I can’t meet old friends anymore. (Well, with really close friends I can tell, it’s okay, but with friends I just know casually.....)
