My eyes are what you'd call sleepy-looking, with a short distance between my eyes and eyebrows and a lot of fat. So Dr. Ryu at ㅇㅅ said that even if I got double eyelids, a big crease would look artificial and not suit me, and there was a high chance I'd end up with sausage-like swelling; he also said that if I did the partial incision method, there would still be a high chance of ending up with a hidden double eyelid.. Still, I personally wanted something more natural, and I also wanted big-looking eyes without obvious double eyelids, so I went with partial incision.. along with fat removal, of course... Honestly, it didn't feel very good during the surgery.. I just endured it by trusting the doctor.. I'm not the type to make a big fuss or anything, though.. When they gave the anesthesia, it hurt a little more than at the dentist.. Of course it hurt, but it was tolerable.. During the fat removal, maybe because they pulled on the eyes, it hurt like someone was pressing on a bruise... I couldn't even say anything, and every time it hurt I just went "mm~ mm~", which was kind of funny.. not like I was enjoying it or anything....==;) When they stitched me up at the end, the anesthesia had worn off a little, so it hurt a bit..... Still tolerable....... It just felt unpleasant, so I don't think I ever want to do it again.. But when they were burning the fat, it smelled like burnt squid.. Afterward they put a long flesh-colored bandage on it, so I couldn't see it very well, but anyway...... it wasn't so swollen that I could describe the swelling exactly... ;;; how should I put this... I was just very swollen, but it didn't seem that bruised.. a little bluish though.. When my eyes used to have a lot of fat and got swollen before, it feels like they stitched an xxxxx mark in the middle with thread.. I need this swelling to go down... I do ice compresses to reduce it, but.. well.. I'm not really doing much else;;; They told me to come to the hospital on Monday.. but that doesn't mean they'll remove the stitches then, right? Ugh, I wish they would take them out then and I could get the swelling down quickly.. I tutor on Tuesday..ㅠ_ㅠ...... I'm just a first-year college student and I only recently took on tutoring, so it's not like I can just postpone it..ㅠㅠ.....nothing I can do.. That lady knows I had surgery, though... With tape over my eyes.... what a joke..ㅠㅠ... I don't even have sunglasses..... and I don't wear them either..ㅠㅠ.. But a boy going into 2nd year middle school asked why the teacher had surgery, so I got flustered and said wouldn't a prettier tutor be better? Then that little goody-two-shoes who hasn't even gotten acne yet kept nodding his head.... you little traitor.......ㅡ_ㅡ.... backstabber. Anyway, please root for me~ It looks really weird. There's stitches right in the middle of my eyelid, and I keep wondering what this even is. I hope all of you are doing well....
