I had ptosis correction done at Almond and it went wrong, so I was going around getting consultations for my third incisional double-eyelid surgery. By now I’ve been to so many consultations that they all feel the same, and I honestly don’t know anymore. First of all, it was really hard to book a consultation, but honestly, I don’t know why it’s that hard. They pointed out only exactly what was needed and said no to things that wouldn’t work, but they didn’t say anything especially different from other places... so honestly, it didn’t really hit home for me. Other places also mentioned retraction, a second line, and releasing adhesions, and this place said similar things to ㄱㄴㅅㅇ and ㅁㅅㄹㅇ too... so I didn’t really get the feeling that, because of its reputation, I definitely had to do it here. They emphasized that the surgeon has fast hands and said the surgery would take 1 hour.. But that actually made me feel more anxious. I think it wouldn’t be bad to go for a consultation at least once. They said they do four surgeries a day, and the consultant kept asking which hospitals I’d been to and how much each place quoted me, constantly asking about other hospitals, so it made me uncomfortable and my trust kind of dropped there. .
