Hi, I’m going to write my breast surgery review starting now! I think it’ll be useful for people who are thinking about breast augmentation to read. I’ve been thinking about breast surgery since I was a teenager because I have small breasts, but I kept putting it off because of side effects and financial issues. Now I’m getting married soon, so after a lot of thinking before wearing my wedding dress, I had breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Ok Jae-jin at The Plastic Surgery!!
Why I chose the hospital / doctor I tend to be very skeptical, and if I’m not convinced, I can’t hand myself over to someone else... Especially since you have to live with implants in your body for the rest of your life!!!! So I obsessively searched through reviews everywhere, and the reviews with a consistent shape and high satisfaction were Dr. Ok Jae-jin.... Originally, the doctor seemed to mainly do breast reconstruction and also plastic surgery on the side... Since breast reconstruction is the more difficult field, I trusted that more. In the reviews, people kept saying they could feel the doctor’s expertise, plastic surgery philosophy, and confidence... So!! I left a note on my phone that if I were to get breast surgery, I should go with Dr. Ok.... Then several years passed...... The reason I decided on breast surgery was my wedding..... So I didn’t apply for consultations at other hospitals at all, and I packed consultation + tests + surgery into one day at The Plastic Surgery...!! But I slightly regret that. If the doctor could see my breasts twice, it would give more time to think about the design or the amount of implant... It would probably be better to just book the consultation + tests on the same day and then have the surgery on another day, so the operation can be done earlier in the day and it’d be much better....!!!! That’s just my opinion. But I live in the countryside, so even if I went back, I would have made the same choice
During the consultation, I had already watched the doctor’s YouTube a lot (?) but I really hadn’t prepared properly for how many cc I wanted or what kind of design I wanted... did you notice??꙼̈̆̎̐̈̊̈ So when the doctor asked me questions, I kept saying I wasn’t sure... and awkwardly admitted I hadn’t prepared anything, Dr. Ok said, “The doctor can do the preparation.” Then he accurately pointed out the condition of my breasts one by one. He said my breasts were positioned quite low. Based on the shadow under the breasts, there might not be bone underneath. So while explaining the surgical method and all that~~ blah blah, he also said that having a pigeon chest was one of my characteristics and figured out the worries I’d been having in just 10 seconds. He also said the left breast was slightly larger, so we should use different sizes. The consultation result was submammary incision Motiva Demi, 320 cc and 350 cc, finalized! But he said that once we open the breasts in the operating room (?) the size could still change a bit. So in the end, both sides were done with Motiva Demi 320 cc. I’m going to ask about that at the next follow-up consultation~!! The manager in charge of me was also kind, and there was also a sonography specialist doctor, which was great! I was worried because I had a cyst, but they explained everything calmly and well.
<Day 1 to Day 3 after surgery>
Even though I was super scared, the pain was more tolerable than I expected!! After the anesthesia wore off, my throat hurt a bit, but my chest felt like an elephant was pressing down on it Even when I didn’t feel like I needed painkillers, I kept taking ibuprofen and Tylenol alternately after going home, and that seemed to help?!! On the evening of Day 1, I ate porridge, but I couldn’t sleep at all. It hurt whether I lay down or sat up, and my chest felt so swollen that I couldn’t stop thinking about it....!! Originally, the bandage would come off after 3 days, but because I live far away, I think I’ll visit after a week!!! When they take it off, I’ll upload photos then too On Day 2, again, I couldn’t sleep, sit, or even get up... Especially when lying flat on my back, the whole implant pressed against my chest, so it felt extremely tight, and my stomach was bloated too. By Day 3, it became a bit more bearable~... If I took painkillers before the pain started and went to sleep, I could actually sleep. Now lying down still isn’t comfortable, but it doesn’t hurt!!! If you’re curious about anything, ask me
