Smoothing a Peanut-Shaped Facial Line With Cheekbone + Square Jaw Surgery

My peanut-shaped face was a complex of mine, but facial contouring is a major surgery, so I had kept putting it off. But I thought, if I’m going to keep worrying about it like this, I might as well do it even one year younger, so I went around consulting at facial contouring clinics known for a doll-like facial line and ended up having surgery! The clinic’s style was not to recommend an excessive surgical plan, but to listen to my opinions and tell me only what was possible within a safe range. The consultation with the doctor felt short and a bit blunt, but I could tell he was trying to reflect the style I wanted as much as possible. The details were explained kindly by the consultant, and the staff overall were friendly, which I liked, so I had my surgery there haha I was really worried a lot until the surgery, but before the operation the doctor explained carefully how the surgery would be done, and the nurse also kindly guided me until anesthesia so I could relax. The surgery was over after I closed and opened my eyes, and although I went for surgery without a guardian, the staff took good care of me. When I was hospitalized, there was also a duty nurse, and when it seemed like the pain was getting worse, they gave me a pain-control injection, so I was able to be discharged the next morning without discomfort. In the early stage after surgery, I had some phlegm, and on days 3-4 the swelling reached its peak, so it was a little uncomfortable. But I got swelling laser treatment and went for walks, and after about a week, the swelling went down a lot. Around this point, I checked the before-and-after progress with Dr. Jung Sung-mo using CT, and I was surprised because the bone structure itself had changed so much. The doctor said the surgery went well and that I just needed to recover while getting swelling management and disinfection treatment properly. Maybe because I received regular care at the clinic until about one month after surgery, this period seemed to show the biggest difference in swelling. Since a lot of the major swelling had gone down, people around me also praised me a lot, saying my cheekbones and square jaw had definitely reduced, so I felt good :) I received thorough aftercare at the clinic, and every time I went, the staff told me the minor swelling was going down well. People around me also kept asking if I had lost weight, so even during the period when I still had swelling, I didn’t really have anything like a mentally difficult period haha Also, when I contacted the consultant with questions about things I had to be careful about myself during recovery, like meals, she answered quickly. As long as I followed what the clinic told me, the care went well without problems, so I think I was able to get through the recovery period less painfully than I had worried. From the 3-month mark, I could feel that a lot of the swelling had gone down, and I started to clearly feel that my face had become slimmer. Even during this period, and because the minor swelling kept going down, my face gradually became slimmer. Since having facial contouring surgery until now, people around me have kept asking if I lost weight lol Since people around me are reacting like this too, I’ve been trying various styles that I couldn’t try before because I was busy covering my facial line with my hair. Most styles seem to suit me well, so I think it was a good decision to make up my mind and get facial contouring surgery~
