I do not have any particular symptoms right now, but... I am getting my stitches removed the day after tomorrow. But earlier, while I was gently washing the area under my eyes, I think water splashed onto the right double eyelid surgery site. I was really startled, but because I had eye ointment applied, I could not tell where the water had splashed ㅠㅠ Water is not supposed to touch the double eyelid surgery site, right? But if water does get on it, what happens?? Also, I heard that sleeping with about two pillows keeps the eyes from swelling, so since the day of surgery I have kept two pillows stacked up and have been sleeping not completely sitting, but almost in a sitting position. This position is so uncomfortable that I keep waking up while sleeping ㅡㅜ How long do I have to sleep in this position?? After the stitches are removed, would it be okay to use just one pillow..??
