I had the classic slanted-eye look, so I got double eyelid surgery plus a canthoplasty together. The doctor said that if the double eyelid line is made too high, the horizontal length can actually look shorter, so I only raised the line a little and had the surgery done as naturally as possible. In the early stage after surgery there was a bit of swelling so it looked awkward, but now the swelling has gone down a lot and the line suits my face well without feeling artificial, so I am very satisfied!!
