The hospital was spacious and luxurious. I had requested Director Bae In-ho and went in for eyes + nose, but during the consultation with the consultant, she said that if I did my nose, the area between my eyebrows could look narrow, so I should do the nose first. So I decided to just do my nose for now. I hadn’t requested a specific director for the nose, so I was assigned to Director Lee Jung-hwan.
My nasal bridge was almost nonexistent, so I said I only wanted to raise the bridge. As expected, the bridge was sunken, but they said it was not a nose where only the bridge should be raised, and suggested correction for a hump, osteotomy, bulbous nose, short nose, and deviated nose. I thought it would be better to follow the doctor’s judgment rather than end up with a poor result, so I accepted it. The consultation ended quickly.
I had lived without paying attention to my nose, so it was my first time realizing my nose was crooked. After taking photos, I think I could see the deviation.
I requested a natural-looking nose without being greedy about height.
For implants/materials, silicone was chosen for the nasal bridge, and donated costal cartilage for the nasal tip because my septal cartilage was short.
I was intimidated by the enormous list that seemed to include every nose surgery I had ever heard of, but they said only a little would be done, bundled several items together for the calculation, and said the deviated nose correction would be included as a service. (I think they also said they wouldn’t do much surgery for the deviated nose.)
The price initially came out in the 6 million won range, but with a photo disclosure discount and an additional discount, it became 4.5 million won.
