I had my surgery in Gyeyang-dong, Incheon... The doctor doesn't do surgery on Saturdays, but since I'm a salaried worker and didn't have time, he did the surgery for me in the morning... First I went to the hospital, consulted about how the surgery would be done.. then took photos and went into surgery... I asked the doctor to give me sedation anesthesia, but... he said sedation anesthesia is not good for surgery because when you wake up from it you move around a little, and if it's not severe they don't give it... He said to me, 'You can probably just do it...,' and didn't give it to me.. They disinfected me on the operating table.. drew the line and started the medial canthoplasty anesthesia... But it didn't hurt much....^^It was just like getting a shot in the butt... It stung a little... 'It doesn't hurt much, right?' he said.. haha I thought to myself maybe I was just being overly scared Then I felt the flesh being cut and tied with thread.. He said now he would do the double eyelid surgery... and said it would hurt a little more than just before.. But that was still bearable... Like getting an injection in the gums at the dentist... Then when he did the incision and removed the fat, I thought I was dying from the pain.. It felt like my eyes were being pushed inward.... and because the two eyes were so different the doctor had a very hard time.. He said the right side had more tangled blood vessels than the left.. While burning away the fat, I twitched and one blood vessel burst... They stopped the bleeding... and I got scolded by the doctor.. He told me not to be scared, because then the anesthesia wears off properly... Also, the left side was done all at once, but on the right side he stitched the inside, then opened it again and stitched again... stitched the inside... disinfected again... then stitched the outside of the eye.... when he stitched the outer eye it stung a bit.. He stitched it all the way outside... disinfected the eye with antiseptic... and that was it... The surgery was really hard for me... Even though I was under eye anesthesia, he kept telling me to open my eyes because of the line.. But I couldn't open them well... I got scolded several times for not opening them wide enough.. Can you really open them wide when you're under anesthesia...ㅠ.ㅠ Anyway, the surgery ended in 1 hour and 30 minutes In the recovery room they taught me how to practice opening my eyes.. and I got a band and a cold pack and came home... As soon as my mom saw me after surgery, she said there wasn't much swelling.. I looked awkward... but she said it was okay..^^ Now a day has passed since the surgery and I'm much more swollen than yesterday.. It's harder to open my eyes too... and my eyes feel tight... I hope time passes quickly so I get better soon... This surgery review is so all over the place, and I still can't see well right now, so there will probably be a lot of typos.... please understand..^^
