Really.. maybe because I had anesthesia. It didn't hurt at all.. Even though I went in determined, I was thinking.. what if it hurts.. I remember the doctor coming into the operating room and putting on gloves.. Like many other people say.. It felt like I was riding a roller coaster going somewhere..^^ And in the middle, I did come to my senses.. but my eyes had no sensation, so there was no pain, pulling, or anything like that. It’s just.. during the consultation the doctor had been extremely kind, but during the surgery he was a bit blunt.. just.. open your eyes.. close them again.. He kept repeating only those words. In the middle, he occasionally said things like it was done nicely and well. After it was over, he said I did well and then left. I.. couldn't even say goodbye properly, lay there a little longer, then went to the recovery room, wrapped bandages around my eyes.. and lay down for about 30 minutes. On the way home, I was just a little.. dizzy.. After I got home, ate, and before taking medicine.. so from about 2 hours after surgery, it started to pull slightly and hurt. You know.. normally I probably wouldn't have felt it as pain.. It was more like it hurt because I was unnecessarily paying attention to it.^^ I still have tape on, so I have no idea how it looks.. Before surgery, I wanted to ask whether it wouldn't come undone.. But asking now felt silly, so I didn't ask.. Suddenly I'm scared that the single-knot continuous suture.. might come undone..^^ They told me to remove the tape tomorrow morning.. Do I start cold compresses from then? If anyone knows this.. please answer^^
