I had the buried sutures removed yesterday, and I’m going to upload photos and write a review here too.. just in case my story helps someone.. The method I had seems similar to a loop technique done at a certain clinic, where about two areas of the eye are sewn with thread and fixed in place. Probably.. The thread stays inside the eye... and it doesn’t dissolve. So there’s almost no chance of it coming undone. The swelling isn’t severe either, and if only the thread is removed, it goes back to the original state. I had it done in Japan. It’s a pretty big clinic. Japanese people mostly do buried suture methods, they say.. because it has to look unnoticeable. I found this clinic while web surfing. The price was 250,000 won in Korean money (originally it costs over about 1 million won, but they were running a campaign..), so I was only planning to get a consultation but ended up going for it. For about a week, I endured it thinking only that I would become prettier.. But time kept passing... the swelling did go down, but somehow I kept thinking the eyes didn’t suit my face. Later the swelling went down more slowly.. and it felt like everyone was only looking at my eyes... The stress was no joke. I looked in the mirror all day, and when I woke up I looked in the mirror... I had done it secretly, so I couldn’t tell anyone and just suffered alone. So I was most envious of people in this community who got their parents’ permission and went with their parents.ㅠㅠ I told the doctor I really couldn’t do this and that I would have it undone. The doctor said it would be a waste, so let’s wait a little longer. So... I tried to wait.. but I’m really not patient... The swelling would go down a lot by evening... but when I thought about going to a jjimjilbang with my mom later, I got so scared.. And I absolutely couldn’t go around without makeup.. If someone asked, “Did you get double eyelids?” I’d get startled... and lie...ㅠㅠ It was really painful. So I... couldn’t even wait a month~~ and lay back on the operating table 25 days after surgery. Maybe because the stitches were stuck to my eyes, it hurt so much... I prayed, please leave my original inner double eyelids~ ^^ The doctor told me to open my eyes, but my eyes wouldn’t open and it was so scary... But when I looked in the mirror... the swelling had gone way down~ and even the double eyelid that used to come undone easily right before surgery was more settled than I expected. Just a little swelling on the eyelids?? At that time, when I touched my eyes with my hand, I could feel the thread~ but now I can’t feel it. Of course. Since the thread was removed.... There are anesthesia injection marks and needle holes~~ but I think they’ll disappear quickly...^^ I really slept comfortably yesterday~ and now I’m truly happy.. It was a big experience, right? If I hadn’t tried it, I probably would have kept regretting it.. I don’t think mine is a face that becomes prettier through surgery~^^ If you go to the photo section, there are photos from before surgery, after surgery, and even after the restoration surgery~ Think carefully~ everyone, I hope you all become prettier~ Thank you for reading this long post^^
