The consultation was long. They pulled out various medical books and talked while showing photos, which sounded plausible, but all they did was insist on their own opinions and it wasn’t logical. They kept insisting that it was ptosis even though it wasn’t, and pushed that blepharoptosis correction was absolutely necessary for my eyes. I also felt their standard of beauty was odd. They showed photos of a person with eyes wide open and a person who had blepharoptosis correction done, and asked which looked better in a leading question, but both looked strange, so when I said both were strange, they put me down by saying my standard of beauty was different from ordinary people. Something somewhere went wrong ...
