At first the consultant helped me, and she was kind and told me everything I was curious about. She looked at my eyes and said they would be so pretty if I did it, and asked why I hadn’t done it until now, but I guess that’s probably something they say to everyone. I had a consultation with Dr. Kim, and he slowly and kindly explained everything, which was good. He said that because my eyes are protruding and droopy, I would need incisional surgery, and that ptosis correction would probably have to be decided during the procedure, with about a 20% chance. He said if I don’t want epicanthoplasty, it’s okay not to do it, but recommended it because it would make my eyes look more open. I liked that he was kind and explained things well.
