I had surgery 5 years ago I booked surgery that same day at a place I went to through an acquaintance’s recommendation, and had the surgery 3 days later. I knew nothing about eye correction or ptosis, so I went in thinking my drooping eyelids meant I naturally had ptosis. But after the consultation, they told me it was not ptosis; my eyes had the strength to open, but the skin was drooping even more than that, so I was using my forehead to open them because I could not hold them up. So they said I did not need eye correction, and that helping my eyes open with double eyelid surgery would be enough, which is why the effect was great, but the side effects were also not small...
