I had a consultation for revision surgery for sausage eyes. They said there was an awkward amount of eyelid tissue left for doing an excisional method, and recommended the two-line technique. They said ptosis correction may be done during surgery at the doctor’s discretion. When I asked if my eyes were the type that needed ptosis correction, lol, he said it was like asking them to add tofu when eating doenjang jjigae at a restaurant, and that the owner makes it as they see fit, so I was flustered haha. He said he would look and decide at his own discretion. For the surgery, they said I would receive sedation, then local anesthesia around the eyes, and the eye surgery would be done after I regained consciousness
