The director is a bit conservative. He tries not to do any surgery that has even a little risk. He did not recommend lateral canthoplasty, saying it has a high risk of scarring and that I probably wouldn’t see much effect. He only recommended double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. It’s good that he’s cautious, but it felt a bit excessive. I went early in the morning, so there was no wait. The facilities weren’t great, and both the consultant and director were kind.
