I had surgery around 2014 or 2015, and since it was my very first cosmetic surgery in my life, I didn’t really know anything and went into surgery saying I’d just do whatever they told me to do without any special requests. It was done under local anesthesia only, and partly because my skin was naturally thick, the swelling lasted for more than a year, and the fixation was very strong so it looked even more sausage-like. People around me even said, why isn’t your swelling going down? Then the stitches from the muscle correction on my other eye came loose, and when I came back with a severe asymmetry, they told me why I hadn’t come earlier and went over the precautions...
