It’s been about 56 years since I had double eyelid, front canthoplasty, and ptosis correction surgery. At the time I was very young, so I had no real thoughts about it, and because all my relatives had it done there, I ended up having it done too. They said if the line was set too high it wouldn’t suit me, but I insisted, so I had the line placed high. In the end I was satisfied, but looking back now, I think a lower line might have suited me better. I think it was fine as a first surgery.
