I really never thought I’d be writing a post about revision surgery, but I wanted to show it off so badly that I’m writing here (I can’t post it on Insta★, you know ★) Anyway, I had actually had my eyes done once before, but over time, the line kept kind of rolling inward? I don’t know how to describe it, and it was even uneven, so my eyes kept changing little by little.. When I got my first double eyelid surgery, I wasn’t as proactive about doing online and in-person research as I am now. It was just normal to pick a clinic based on rumors, follow a friend, and go wherever someone had good results..
Anyway, after my first surgery I had so many complaints about my eyes. I swore I would definitely get them done againㅡㅡ.. I forgot about the failed surgery and lived busily, then suddenly one day I got the urge, and since I happened to have saved up some money.. I immediately did all the online and in-person research and went around to plastic surgery clinics. At first, I tried about two large clinics since they tend to have lots of reviews, but at one of them the consultant felt like she was scolding me? During the consultation, it drained all my energy and wore me out ;; so I quickly passed on that place. At another one, I liked both the consultation and the reviews, but there had been an issue in the past ^^... so I passed on that one like the wind too and chose from private clinics.
The place I chose was On Air! (not an ad) First of all, consulting with the director was honestly so comfortable. Seriously. I was totally intimidated after getting consultations at large clinics, but the director here was so gentle, and I’d give the explanation 100 points lol Personally, the surgeries I had in mind for my eyes were posterior canthoplasty and revision surgery for the ruined double eyelid line, but the director looked at reviews and various things with me and recommended only what would actually be good. This is just my thought, but if they had pushed me to do more things here, I probably wouldn’t have done it lol Anyway, so I decided on ptosis correction, double eyelid surgery, and dual canthoplasty, and yesterday marked exactly 100 days since surgery. I really, really like my eyes now.
No lie, I feel 10% upset thinking how nice it would have been if they had turned out like this from the start, and 90% that they came out so pretty and well. The swelling went down a lot after a month, and even my parents keep saying, “Bring my daughter back, huh? You’re not my daughter,” and that my eyes are so pretty lol...
These days I’m already going around without a mask, and soon when vacation season comes I’ll be traveling and going out to have fun, so I’m really so happy that the timing worked out well and the results are pretty lolol. Trying to put this feeling into writing is seriously so hard ;;
Anyway, if anyone besides me is thinking about revision surgery, definitely! Go to several places, and if there’s a style you want, don’t hesitate, talk it over well~ with the director, and if there’s a director OR consultant who excessively pushes and recommends all sorts of things, make sure to filter that place out. Be sure to look through reviews carefully, and I hope you get pretty eyes you’re satisfied with. I’ll end my review here~ I ended up rambling while writing, but my eyes did turn out well, right?? ^^
