Day 22 after surgery... some slightly strange symptoms...

But on day 12, starting when the stitches were removed, the right side felt refreshed, but the lower gum area on the left side feels numb, sometimes throbs, and somehow the sensation is not comfortable. I called the hospital and asked, and they said that even if both sides are operated on exactly the same way, it is common for one side to recover more slowly. In most cases, if both sides hurt the same, you tend to think that is just how it goes, but when swelling or pain is worse on only one side, you start to suspect something went wrong with the surgery. After brushing her teeth, I see her covering her mouth with a towel and saying, “Ah, it itches.” Until right before the stitches were removed on day 12, the sensation on both sides was the same, but since the left side started feeling strange from the time the stitches were removed, I don’t have professional knowledge, so I can only guess and can’t know for sure, but I worry for no reason that while removing the stitches, they may have touched a nerve on the left side, and whether it is even possible to touch a nerve in that situation. Because the surgery was something my daughter insisted on until the end, if she does something that seems not quite right and I keep asking her, she says it’s not that serious, but I’m quietly very concerned that although it was okay at first, another symptom may appear later. In March, she will be going away to university in another region, so once she is living alone in a dormitory away from home, there must not be any further aftereffects. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms? If you have experienced symptoms like this, around when did they go away? And to be honest, when viewed from the side, it is clear that the angle is gone, but from the front, I can hardly feel any effect. And one more thing. Now that I look closely at my daughter, she has side cheekbones, not front cheekbones. Even while browsing this community, when I thought of cheekbones, I only thought of ones protruding forward, and although I had seen the term “side cheekbones” on the board, I never thought about width spreading out to the sides at all, and just thought our child had nothing to do with cheekbones. But now that I look, I realized that the line flowing from the side forehead to the cheek is not smooth. That is because of the side cheekbones. So I think that may be even more why I don’t feel much frontal effect. Because she has slight side cheekbones, and because her face is on the larger side overall, it seems she only became a little rounder, and it doesn’t feel much like she became slimmer. Also, her cheek fat hasn’t gone down yet. So I ordered 100 pouches of oriental medicine pumpkin juice from Juice Is Good, but she has only had about 30 pouches so far.
