I got good information from this community, so.. I finally had surgery too, hehe... I had epicanthoplasty and an incision method in Busan Seomyeon..// I was calm until I actually got onto the operating table... but once I was up there.... Even while the director was drawing the line with a pen, my lips were trembling..ㅠㅠ.. I’m naturally very timidㅎㅎ.. The weird thing is... the nurse said it was sedation anesthesia.. and gave me one shot only in my arm. I heard someone else got it in the eye, but since it was in the arm it does seem like sedation anesthesia. Was I supposed to stay fully conscious?^^;; I got a little dizzy and stayed conscious.. I thought sedation anesthesia meant you sleep through it... I didn’t fall asleep from the start to the end of surgery...-_-;; I remember everything.. even the conversation... Something was moving around in front of my eyes.. I could feel sewing.. I smelled burning... ugh... I thought I was going to die..ㅠ.ㅠ I was super tense because people say the anesthesia hurts... But the anesthesia itself was over with one shot, and it didn’t hurt at allㅎㅎ The problem was when the anesthesia wore off.. my skin pulled really hard...ㅠ.ㅠ But.. I still haven’t been able to see how the line turned out. They put tape on it and told me not to remove it until I come in tomorrow. Is that normal?... (If I peel it off, look, and put it back on, I can’t really do that either..;;ㅎㅎ) At first my eyes wouldn’t open and my vision was blurry, so it was really uncomfortable.... but after some time passed, it got a little better// I couldn’t see the line, so I don’t know if it turned out well.. I guess I’ll know when I go tomorrow...ㅎ I’m also really scared, but since I managed to endure it pretty well... I think everyone else should be able to handle it too.// I hope the surgery recovery goes well... It’s so frustrating not being able to see the line...ㅠㅠ... Anyway, the surgery itself wasn’t that hard, so if you’re thinking about surgery or have it scheduled, don’t worryㅎㅎ..
