It's been about 2 months since I had double eyelid surgery. When I had double eyelid surgery, they gave me an injection in my upper arm. Less than about 1 minute after the injection, I fell asleep. After that, when I woke up, the double eyelid surgery was almost finished. I thought everyone else did it this way too, but recently I heard from someone I know that they don't use sedation for double eyelid surgery, and that injections in the upper arm are for things like rhinoplasty. They said for double eyelid surgery, they only inject anesthetic around the eyes. Is that really true?? That's strange..
