115 days after full-face fat grafting ***Pros 1. The wrinkles around my eyes disappeared--I had kept holding out without wearing makeup.. but once the wrinkles around my eyes started showing (when I was 38--people were practically begging me not to frown my forehead), I started wearing makeup.. Now I go around bare-faced.. My age.. 39 2. The wrinkles around my mouth disappeared--paranasal augmentation--I had been concerned about this too.. 3. My lifelong wish was to look like I had flesh on both cheeks--wish fulfilled 4. From the beginning, my nose didn’t look obviously operated on.. it only got higher--they said they put in 5 mm--amazing 5. Until I say I had surgery.. no one knows I had surgery. --The doctor said I’d hear that I just look like someone who took a tonic. I look 5-6 years younger-->This was proven. A guy I contacted after 5 years asked me to date him. He said my face hadn’t changed at all in 5 years... It was the first satisfying moment after surgery. 6. If my family back home in the countryside finds out I had surgery, it would be a big problem.. so I’ve been holding out without telling them until now. When I saw my older female cousin last time.. since it doesn’t look like I had surgery, she didn’t know. 7. Something I realized strongly after surgery--I had surgery believing it was a simple procedure. But still, it bothered me. I thought of it as building inner strength.. and endured for 3 months.. Especially the people around me.. they only said good things.. that the surgery went well.. I’m so grateful to them.. ***Cons 1. During the consultation, I heard the explanation twice, but.. since it was an unfamiliar surgery.. I didn’t understand it. They explained the surgical method, but honestly maybe because I had the surgery without thinking much.. I thought the surgery time would be about 30 minutes. But because I didn’t have much fat on my abdomen. They said about 50 cc needed to be put into my face. I had 18 cc injected.. I later heard they used it sparingly and evenly I think it took a little under 2 hours.. I thought I was going to die from hunger 2. I had a little bruising on both cheeks---it disappeared within 1 week 3. My forehead was bumpy--this also became flat later 4. Friends and people around me asked why I had surgery on a pretty face.. since I went to work from the day after surgery.. Most of us are women, and they said it didn’t look like I had surgery. When I explained the surgery.. only then they went, um... If even one person had told me earlier that I was pretty, I wouldn’t have had surgery.. 5. Now it’s day 115.. both cheeks being reddish.. -->the fat is not going away at all.. If both cheeks lose volume, will the wrinkles around my mouth come back? I don’t really like the reddish look. Kim Tae-hee has flesh on both cheeks too, but she’s just fair-skinned. 6. A friend I met after 3 years said this. Without thinking that I met her after aging 3 years.. she said my face hadn’t changed at all and asked why I spent money on surgery if that was going to be the case...
