Review, day 3 after cheekbone surgery through scalp incision + square jaw surgery through intraoral incision

First of all, the surgery itself wasn’t that hard But when I woke up from anesthesia, my throat hurt so much, and that was painful On the first day, except for the sore throat, it was manageable But from the second day, I swelled up like crazy, to the point that I’m worried whether this swelling will really go down. Inside my bandaged head it itches as if lice appeared; what did you all do when it itched? I’m tapping that area, but it’s so hard If someone paid me to do it again, I think this is a surgery I could absolutely never do again Well, once all the swelling goes down later, I’ll probably forget^^ But it is seriously painful. It’s not that any specific area hurts, but because of the pressure from the swelling, it’s hard to breathe, hard to open my eyes, and hard to sleep Having to sleep lying straight on my back is so painful that I wake up once every hour, sit for a while, and then fall asleep again, over and over When on earth does the swelling start going down? Every day it gets worse, so I feel like it will just keep swelling like this until the end I’m worried I’ll upload photos later when the bandage comes off
