I had surgery near Gangnam Station today! I had my consultation the day before yesterday and went straight into surgery today at 4. It’s thanks to this community. I received so much help and so many recommendations, so I think everything went well without any issues^^ Also, I’m extremely scared of anesthesia. I’ve never had surgery even once in my life. But I had seen a post like this~ If you lie on the operating table feeling nervous and anxious, even a small touch can make the pain feel twice as bad!! Isn’t it similar to when there’s a fire and, instead of carrying out the baby, someone carries out the TV? Anyway, because of that, from the day before I tried really hard on my own to stay calm and act like it was nothing. ^^ Then the anesthesia was literally just a series of tiny pricks. It didn’t hurt that much! Maybe because I didn’t grimace, I didn’t bruise either, and the doctor was very pleased, saying I followed along calmly ^^ For those who are scared of anesthesia! Don’t worry~~ And during surgery, there was that smell people talk about, like grilling squid (my stomach growled lol), and that rustling/slicing sound.. Things I had only heard about and only read in posts were actually being heard by my own ears, so it was really fascinating! Near the end it stung just a tiny, tiny bit, so I said it hurt, and they gave me a little more anesthetic injection, and then they continued again without pain ^^ I had epicanthoplasty and full-incision double eyelid surgery!! Anyway, everyone getting surgery, fighting!! When I get my stitches removed on the 24th, I’ll upload photos~~
