Back in high school I went to get double eyelid surgery without knowing anything, and even though my eyes clearly didn’t need epicanthoplasty at all, they still just said let’s do it. I should not have done it. Even now, 10 years later, I regret it and I’m still suffering from dry eyes and a harsh-looking impression. I did get the epicanthoplasty revision, but the incision scar remains and my eyes are ruined.
