Everyone was getting jaw Botox like it was nothing, so I went without thinking much of it, but it stung more than I expected, so I was surprised. I could feel the solution going in. I did ask them to inject lower down so I wouldn’t get cheek hollowing, but the doctor just smiled as if I’d said something obvious, so I felt a bit awkward… The procedure was over very quickly, and it felt somewhat like a high-volume clinic. The staff were kind, and the Botox effect wasn’t bad either. But it feels subtly asymmetrical. When I clench my teeth, only one side still sticks out. I was already asymmetrical to begin with, so I’m just thinking that’s probably why.
