When I consulted with the doctor, they said my skin is thin and my freckles are spread out, so there’s about a 2 out of 10 chance of hyperpigmentation, and told me to think it over before getting it. Freckles have been a lifelong problem for me, so after thinking about it, I decided to get it. Contrary to my worries, there was almost no hyperpigmentation, and they were removed pretty cleanly. I used to be totally covered in freckles, but now they’re barely visible when I wear makeup. It’s been about 2 years, and it seems like a few may be coming back, so I want to get it again later.
