I had double eyelid surgery here about 56 years ago, and it was a complete disaster. There was not even 1 bit of professionalism during the consultation either, so for double eyelid consultations they ask whether you will do heavy makeup or light makeup, and if it is light they say they will make it thin, if it is heavy they say they will make it thick. In my case, I was going from no double eyelids to double eyelids, so out of greed I asked for thick double eyelids, and they had set it at 11 mm. I only found this out much later, when I was consulting at another hospital for revision surgery. I was not even insisting on thick ones at the time, but when they asked what I wanted, I obviously said they would make it thick within an aesthetically pretty standard with an out-line ...
