Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

I finally did it today~~! hehe~~

I had the consultation on Monday and finally did it today. I had hesitated for so long.. so it's a bit unfortunate timing-wise that I'm only doing it now... classes are starting soon, you know... so I'm quite worried. Still, thinking that I no longer have to force my eyes open and constantly worry about my eyes... I'm really so excited and happy. Now, getting to the main point.. I had read so many posts here and there before going..^^ I had a short consultation before surgery, and when I asked the doctor this and that, he said I had really looked into a lot.. lol After talking, I washed my face and lay down on the operating table, and my head really started spinning and I got dizzy..ㅡ.ㅡ The operating table was flat, and even normally when I lie down, I need a high pillow to be comfortable, otherwise I get dizzy..ㅠ.ㅠ. I was dizzy for a while, seeing haze and everything, it was a mess. Then the nurse came in.. I was completely scared, and she said it wasn't time yet and turned on the radio for me,. Still, I was so scared.. I kept biting my nails... After quite a while, the doctor came in. I was really scared... I asked him to please tell me when he was going to inject the anesthesia, and after he said okay, he drew the line. After drawing the line for a while, he said, "I'm going to anesthetize now," and gave an anesthetic injection at the end of my eyelid.. A sting... ugh... and then he was doing something in strokes.. The smell of burning skin.. as expected.. lol I thought, he really is doing the surgery. I didn't feel pain. Because I was anesthetized.. He told me to open my eyes from time to time, so I opened them several times... It felt like it took quite a long time. Maybe it just felt that way... Even while it was happening, I thought this is really not something to do... sigh... I listened to the songs on the radio and kept chattering nonstop.. I was scared, so I kept asking the doctor questions... Oh, I had partial incision. When he was stitching the skin... it stung a bit.. He said it was because the anesthesia had weakened... ugh... the feeling was really not good..ㅠ.ㅠ. Then a thin, long needle came right in front of my eye..ㅠ.ㅠ... He did it about three or four times.... I thought I would die.. But it was bearable.. I made weird sounds like uuuugh~~ugh... and after a while, he did the epicanthoplasty.. The sound of scissors.. ugh.. it felt like skin was being cut away..ㅠ.ㅠ... And after a while, when he stitched it... as expected... it stung... ugh.. After it was all done.. I felt so relieved. I really don't think it's something I could ever do again.. All this time, because of my eyes, I put tape on before sleeping, and whenever I went somewhere I always worried my eyelids would come undone and kept straining them, so it's so nice not having to do that... Still, it was so, ugh~~ I don't want to think about it again. They told me to keep doing cold compresses, but on the way home the cold pack melted a lot, so it's soft and watery.. Do I need to freeze it really solid before using it? I'm worrying a bit about that. Anyway, I'm so glad it's over~~! I hope the swelling goes down nicely and prettily. Become prettier~~!^^ Thank you for reading.
