Phew, this is my review of epicanthoplasty + incisional double eyelid surgery I had in January this year!
Originally, my eyes had very thin inner double eyelids, but a double eyelid started appearing intermittently on only one side. But when I took photos then, the contrast between the two sides was really huge. At that moment, I intuitively felt that the time had come to get the double eyelid surgery I had only been thinking about, so I worked hard searching online and also went for consultations, but in the end, I had it done at a place recommended by a friend.
The reasons I chose the clinic were: 1. Natural-looking lines (I recommend checking review photos on the clinic’s website to see what kind of lines the clinic pursues! I liked the IQ line haha) 2. They did not recommend excessive surgery and gave me an estimate while considering even the possibility of the line coming undone (Elsewhere, I was told I needed a forehead lift and brow lift.. and I was also told that natural adhesion would be enough. Even to me, natural adhesion seemed likely to come undone, so I decided on incision!) 3. They are famous for revision eye surgery 4. The 2 friends who recommended it had very pretty results
As for the consultation result and treatment direction, I strongly requested that the epicanthoplasty be done slightly, but absolutely not in a hook shape!! I didn’t want an inline, so I wanted an in-out or semi-out line, and they said they would make it somewhere between in-out and semi-out!
And the result is extremely satisfying! I totally recommend it haha I got a little nervous after seeing community reviews saying the epicanthoplasty turned out ㄷ-shaped, but now if I tell people I had epicanthoplasty, everyone says it doesn’t look like I did haha The line is natural too, and I really like it! So I was suddenly just living my real life well and came to write a review haha I hope my review helps someone!!
