Sigh, everyone... I'm so upset I could die.... I had revision rhinoplasty this January.. The reason I had revision surgery was that the implant inside my nose from the first surgery had shifted slightly because of a minor accident... So this year, one year after my first surgery, I had revision surgery at the same hospital. But the problem is.. I got greedy and asked them to make my nose higher than before.. So the result is.. the glabella area and nasal tip were raised too much in a way that doesn't fit my face, so the nasal tip looks like it was pinched with a clothespin, the glabella is high, and my nose looks long too. On top of that, my alar base was originally on the wide side, but the doctor said that since the nasal tip had been raised a lot.. reducing the alar width would look unnatural, so they wouldn't reduce it. Can you imagine? A wide alar base with a high nasal tip. It really could not be more mismatched. The nasal tip is also upturned.. I really want to kill that doctor. I need to have surgery again, but every hospital I go to says it can't be done before 6 months. Among those who have had revision rhinoplasty, has anyone had another surgery within 6 months? Usually, by about how many millimeters is the alar width reduced? If you reduce the alar width, does it leave a scar? I really can't understand why this doctor says he won't reduce my alar width.
