Surgery on the 24th // Surgery review and the process so far

On the morning of the 24th, I had silicone for the nasal bridge + septal cartilage for the nasal tip! Ah! I also had a little paranasal augmentation. (They said they do it slightly as support during nose surgery.) Maybe because I was so nervous the day before, I couldn’t sleep and even had an upset stomach; Before the surgery, I had another consultation for about 10 minutes and lay down on the operating table. That feeling was really something~ They put in an IV and said they’d start sleep anesthesia, so they told me to count out loud from 1. Did I count up to 5? // After that I don’t remember. Like other people, I wanted to experience another dimension or ride a roller coaster, but it just felt like I was floating in empty space and sleeping? I guess I slept for about an hour under sleep anesthesia. I gradually woke up. I hoped I wouldn’t wake up' I could hear machine sounds and felt like my nose was opened, and the mental pressure was no joke. I kept just wishing it would end, trying to keep an open mind; "It’ll be over soon, it’ll go well, it’ll go well, I’m okay" I thought about music, movies, and moments I like, and the director was humming songs and saying, turn the radio volume up, while doing the surgery calmly and comfortably. After waking from the sleep anesthesia (about 1 hour), maybe about 40 minutes passed and the surgery was over!!!!!!!!!!!! they said. The surgery time was about 1 hour and 40-50 minutes. They said it went well and told me to treat them to a meal-,ㅜ After the surgery ended, all my energy drained out and I felt like I was going to collapse. When they put in the gauze, I thought I was going to die lol In the recovery room, I held my mom’s hand and did a cold compress for about 20 minutes, saw the director once more, and came home. It was nice because they made me comfortable throughout the surgery. The nurse said the day after the surgery day counts as day 1. She said to come to the hospital on days 1, 3, and 5. Surgery day: The gauze was packed in so deep that it hurt up into my head, food had no taste, and I was miserable because I couldn’t breathe through my nose. When I swallowed saliva, even my ear holes felt blocked sob Day 1: Went to the hospital to remove the gauze. When they took it out, I thought I was going to die. After it was out, it felt so refreshing. But when I got home, my nose got blocked again333ㅜㅜ Day 2: Food still had no taste, I felt stuffy, and I was going crazy. I couldn’t sleep properly or eat properly, so I was a total wreck. I had to sleep elevated, and after sitting up with 3 pillows, my tailbone was aching. Peak misery. Day 3: Went to the hospital for disinfection and to have my nose cleared. It felt really refreshing after they cleared it, but after coming home it blocked again. Endless nasal congestion, now I give up. Day 4: I slept a ton because I hadn’t slept lately333 I think I slept 15 hours without waking hehe My nose is still blocked and food still has absolutely no taste. Sigh~ Today is day 4. Tomorrow I’m going to get the stitches removed! Aside from the blocked nose, feeling stuffy because of the tape and not being able to wash, and not being able to taste food, there’s nothing uncomfortable. There’s no pain either, except for a little tightness// And for swelling, on days 1 and 2 I became slightly like a nine-tailed fox, and I had just a tiny bit of bruising too. There’s no major swelling at all, even after sleeping 15 hours lol I was worried I’d become like a lion. From the day of surgery until now, I drank pumpkin juice like crazy. Maybe it had an effect^^; I’m really properly satisfied with the side profile. For those planning surgery, after trying it myself, it really isn’t an easy thing. I hope you take into account the aftercare, stuffiness, and discomfort, and that your surgery goes well. And I have a question. It’s day 4 now, and I’m fairly satisfied with the nasal tip height and everything. I really don’t want the nasal tip to come down. How much does it settle? And when does the nasal congestion clear up;;; The blocked nose is the most!!!!!! miserable thing after surgery. I’d appreciate comments♡
