When I was in middle school, my eyes were a huge source of stress, so I got double eyelid surgery earlier than other people. I also wanted posterior canthoplasty, but the director said I couldn’t because of my age, and they gave me a consultation suited to the patient’s condition. The surgery was done under local anesthesia, and they would ask me to open my eyes during the procedure and things like that, which made them feel trustworthy. Now, 5 years after surgery, it’s so natural that I can go around saying they’re natural double eyelids, and I’m very, very satisfied with the line I wanted. I think the swelling went down later than expected; it seems like it took over a month. I’m thinking about getting posterior canthoplasty later too, and I’m satisfied enough to do it here again…
