I had double eyelid surgery and medial epicanthoplasty done 3 years ago in a regional area. At that time, I had incisional surgery under local anesthesia.. For the first 2 months, my eyes were extremely swollen, so they didn’t look pretty. Now, 3 years later, I’m very satisfied with my eyes^^ I had lateral canthoplasty about 1 year ago at a big hospital in Gyeonggi-do. It turned out pretty and well, without any scarring, but I don’t think there was a fantastic change.. Until the stitches are removed, the surrounding swelling actually makes the eyes look bigger, but once the stitches are removed, they have a tendency to return to their original position. Everyone said a lot about whether it would reattach or not, but I didn’t get greedy and opened it a little, and that little opened area still hasn’t reattached and remains^^ Hmm.. I saw many people here who wanted lateral canthoplasty. I also saw someone leave me a message because they were curious which hospital I had surgery at.. But I couldn’t reply^^ lol The reason I didn’t reply is.. Of course, if you do it, there will be a little change.. But everyone has such high expectations that it’s obvious it won’t meet those expectations.. I was worried that if I told you for no reason, you might feel even more depressed..^^ Lateral canthoplasty.. really only gives a change that you yourself can feel. If you do double eyelid surgery, medial epicanthoplasty, and lateral canthoplasty together, the overall eye shape can change and look bigger, but if you only do lateral canthoplasty, you may feel it looks similar to the original state. If you’re going to have surgery, don’t expect too much. Just think of it as a slight improvement..^^
