I only looked into this one clinic, so I had the consultation and surgery on the same day. I didn’t have to wear a compression band, and there was some swelling, but aside from yellow bruising, I didn’t get any red or blue bruising at all. They made small incisions under the ears and under the chin, so wound care is important. But I showered with waterproof bandages on, and water inevitably got on them. Still, there is almost no scar. I can’t see under my ears myself, and other people don’t notice either. Under the chin, there is a slightly white scar, but it looks like an acne scar, so it’s okay.
