I had double eyelid surgery 3 years ago, and I don't know if it was because I didn't manage the swelling well, but the swelling lasted almost a year and a half. Even at the 1-year mark after double eyelid surgery, people around me kept saying the swelling from my double eyelid surgery hadn't gone down enough, so I got really stressed. At the time I was in 9th grade, and because of the stress from entrance exams too, my self-esteem became extremely low.
