There was some edema after surgery, but after the stitches were removed, the swelling seemed to go down quickly. They removed the stitches without pain too, so it was more tolerable than I had worried. The swelling also went down faster than I expected, so I think I started wearing makeup from week 2. The scars bother me much less than I expected too, and my eyes feel like they look bigger.
