When I had double eyelid surgery as a student, I also had posterior canthoplasty, but there was no effect at all, so I had revision posterior and lower canthoplasty at a clinic known for dramatic results. They definitely opened it up a lot, but because of that, the skin under my eyes rolled inward, so it looked a bit stuffy in a different way than before the canthoplasty. So half a year after the revision, I had surgery for entropion, and that feeling completely disappeared. Now that about 2 years have passed, I’m satisfied with the lower canthoplasty, but the posterior canthoplasty is slightly disappointing, so I’m debating whether to have it opened again somewhere else.
