Before double eyelid surgery, I had double eyelid tape on and edited the photo really heavily, and after double eyelid surgery, I only have makeup on with no editing. Of course, both contact lenses and makeup probably helped, but I had both contacts and makeup on in the before photo too… haha I got double eyelid surgery because my appearance dysmorphia and constantly using double eyelid tape ruined all the skin around my eyes, and I’m so happy with it. Now I’m considering lateral and lower canthoplasty.
