I had thought about wanting to get it done, but since my nose was so small and low, I thought touching it would only make it look even stranger. And when I was 20, a plastic surgeon told me never to touch my nose because it was too small and low and my skin was thin, so silicone would show through. Because of that, I lived thinking rhinoplasty was something for other people. But then someone I know looked prettier somehow, and I couldn’t tell what had changed, so I asked, and they said they had rhinoplasty. That was my first shock.
