I'm two months post-op from intraoral incision jaw and cheekbone surgery..^_^ Now that the swelling has gone down to some extent... I'm starting to notice other things... I'm at two months... and when I put my fingers upright in my mouth, two fit in... When I wash my face or wash my hair, the feeling of my cheekbones being pulled is seriously intense..-_-..; From the front... since the posterior/lateral cheekbones couldn't be done, there is a step, so a vertical step shows. The swelling next to my nose seriously will not go down... to the point that I want to cut it out with a knife..ㅜ My jaw also has a boundary between the part that was cortically shaved and the part that wasn't, so the swelling is uneven and bumpy... Am I normal?? How is it for everyone?? The 45-degree cheekbone is gone, but because of this... when viewed from that angle, my face looks ridiculously long and flat.. I really think there needs to be at least a little cheekbone... My jaw also looks like a dog-like jaw, and it's playing a part in making my face look long...
