It’s finally been one week since my cheekbone surgery. The surgery was done last Monday, and the photos were taken exactly at the 1-week mark. My swelling was the worst on day 3, and by week 1 I think a lot of it had gone down. Right now it looks like I’m holding candy in my cheeks, but they say the residual swelling lasts a long time, so I think I’ll have to wait and see. Now that the cheekbones I was self-conscious about are gone, I’m so satisfied. I think the surgery went well, and the shape seems to have come out the way I wanted. I hope everyone has successful surgery
