It’s been 19 days since my surgery, but the glabella area of my nose is still like this. I had 3 mm of silicone placed in my nose, and they say that if it’s thin, it can lift and blood can pool inside more easily? I didn’t know that placing a thinner implant could make it less likely to adhere than placing a lot. The glabella just won’t go down, and I’m satisfied with all the other areas, but I think inflammation may be developing in the glabella. They say that if inflammation develops, you get a fever and pus comes out, but I had a nosebleed pouring out even though I had never had nosebleeds in my life... (They said blood had pooled and adhered in the glabella area, then poured down.) The doctor said to drain it all and monitor the progress, so they drained all the blood pooled in the glabella, put the nasal cast back on ㅜ.ㅜ I took medicine and got 3 antibiotic injections each time, but even now the glabella is still swollen. The glabella should be sunken in, but it’s protruding so much that even the doctor seemed puzzled about why. I guess I may have to remove it... They added Gore-Tex again to the silicone and the depressed area, but it feels like the Gore-Tex is moving... For those who removed silicone, I’m wondering if your eyes bruised blue or red like before after removing it.. Do you still need a cast after removing silicone? I work, so would it be possible to remove it on Friday... Please reply if you’ve had this done~
