Before surgery, my eyes were tightly closed off at the front and back, small, and uneven, so until I had surgery I thought a lot about what kind of eyes would suit me well. Semi-out lines are popular these days, and since I prefer glamorous eyes, if I had only done double eyelid surgery without canthoplasty, the eyes alone would probably have looked too separate from the rest of my face.
